 Dreams of Heaven
I was prompted to write having recently read your readers letter about her vision of a heavenly garden. A similar experience happened to me.
In December 1993 my twenty year old son Matthew was accidentally killed in Northern Ireland. Soon afterwards I felt his presence around me and this feeling lasted for a few months.
Nearly a year after his death I visited my friends in the North of England. It was the first time I had left home since Matthew's death. There was soon to be a Court Marshall Enquiry.
Whilst on holiday I had a vivid dream. I was looking through some railings and could see flowing green grass and a chestnut tree. Stood nearby was my son dressed in his military uniform.
He looked across at me and smiled then sat down under the tree. He said nothing. I just observed him and felt immersed in the joyful peace of that place.

As a medium I have of course spent a great deal of time comforting the bereaved. Many people describe similar dreams to yours that often happen about a year after their loss. Some psychologist may argue that these dreams are symbolic of the resolving of your bereavement.
I would take things one step further: your son showed you, by means of a dream, that he is at peace.
